Fitzgerald Steele:

For those of us that had to leave a bit early, who won best paper?

Kathy Gill:

Hi Matt:

I've also heard folks asking for a roster of attendees. How difficult would it be to create one (PDF, maybe) and post it in here or link to it in here?

I know it'd be great for me as I've met people where I didn't grab a business card and they haven't registered here. :-/

It would also provide an incentive to set up an account!

Finally, I think we should keep this "up" for networking between now and next year and to use in next year's conference as well.

Joe McCarthy:

Matt: Please ask all authors to post copies of the slides from their presentation at SlideShare (http://www.slideshare.net), with the tag ICWSM (and/or perhaps ICWSM2008, as I see there are 3 presentations from last year that have been uploaded), for the benefit of those of us who were / are / will be unable to see the bottom third of the screen during the talks. Pre-posting the slides - before the talks - would be especially helpful.

Using SlideShare would also be a great way for those who are conducting research into social media to actually use social media in communicating their research.

Thanks!
