Joe McCarthy:

Eytan: thanks for inviting authors to post their presentations to slideshare (http://www.slideshare.net) during the conference. Three authors have accepted the invitation, which seems like a very low acceptance rate for a community that studies social media. Perhaps there's a bias against participating in (i.e., only observing, analyzing, reporting on) social media among some of the researchers, but I think it would to everyone's advantage to share the knowledge beyond the sessions (especially to share the knowledge below the bottom third of the slides, that most of us who were at the conference could not even see).

I would like to invite you to send directed emails to authors to point them to SlideShare, a wonderful social media resource for sharing information about, well, sharing information.

Thanks!
