Planet Social Media Research [1] is a feed aggregator for blogs and feeds discussing research on social media. The scope is intended to cover research in many disciplines -- technical, analytic, linguistic, cultural, social, policy, economic, etc. Relevant technical topics include NLP, information extraction, sentiment detection, opinion extraction, community modeling, blog spam, tagging, graph-based modeling and analysis, semantic web applications, data blogging, trust, influence, social network analysis, event detection, trend/buzz analysis, and machine learning. The site is supported by the UMBC ebiquity research group [2], which plans to maintain it as a non-commercial and ad-free resource for the research community.
